rip iphone :'(

today just hasnt been my day. at all!! :( ive woken up to no electricity, so i had to call my grandad to come and help me. so i thought it would be a good idea to have a nice bath to relax, after all the drama of the electricity. then i drop my iphone in the sink and now its broken. after panic-ing to the point of tears, i got my brother up to help me. 

he was browsing the internet for solutions to help my phone and i found a way that might help! FINGERS CROSSED IT DOES!!

you leave your phone in a bag of rice to absorb the moisture for 3 days. after that it SHOULD come back on. 

i have no idea what i will do if it doesnt :( all ive got now is hope. 

i hate that it makes me feel really materialistic to cry over a phone. but im stuck paying for that phone for another 18 months if it doesnt fix. and when im struck for cash as it is, i cant really afford to just go and get another one. if the rice thing fails to work then when my birthday comes around ill have to buy a cheap iphone to use until my contract has run up. merrrrr.

the start of my hair journey

hello :)

so, ive been wanting my hair a really nice orangey ginger colour for a while now and i just thought to myself, stuff it, im going to go for it. my 19th birthday is next month and i think i can do something a little out there if i want to haha. 

because i have black hair, i obv needed to strip it, so i purchased

schwarzkopf live colour xxl colour intense 00A 

to strip the black from my hair.

this was the result after the xxl blonde bleach dye 

i then applied

schwarzkopf live colour xxl colour intense 35

and this was the finishing result

im really pleased with the finished result because its gone a little ginger :) 

im going to be giving my hair a rest for a couple of weeks before bleaching my hair again. 

i will be blogging about what i do next. 

my hair does feel a little dry, but its nothing a good deep condition wont fix.

so, as you can guess by the title of this post. Soon, I'm going to be dying my hair gingery/orange.

I'm going to do a blog post on what I did and what products I used etc.

I just need to get some money together and actually find the time and someone to bleach my hair for me.

What i use to fill in my eyebrows

hello there :) 

for my eyebrows, I use two products to get them how they are now. I've tried numerous products on my eyebrows and I've finally found a combination which works for me, its quick and easy to do. and it doesn't exactly break the bank. 

I use.. 

 Collection 2000 KOHL pencil - 02 birdy song 

£1.99

I have a few of these pencils in my makeup collection. I think they're very creamy and easily blendable. They're so cheap and versitile.

 GOSH BROW KIT - 001 

£8.99

I think the GOSH Brow Kit is in comparison to the HD Brow Kit but just the cheaper option. 

At first, I wasn't expecting much from the GOSH Brow Kit as, I'd never tried any GOSH products before. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed. Just from trying this brow kit, it made me want to try more GOSH products, so far I bought an eye-shadow quad and a couple of lipsticks. (might do a review on GOSH products) 

I first apply the Collection 2000 KOHL pencil all over my brow to create the general shape of my eyebrow. 

I then use the darkest shade in the GOSH Brow Kit and shade over top of the KOHL pencil and finally, use the wax to set any spars hairs and to help keep my eyebrows on all day. 

 I would recommend these products to anyone! 

ofc the shades would depend on your hair colour. Mine is currently black, and I have naturally dark eyebrow hair anyway, just not much of it, so I like to define my face. I do have full eyebrows & I prefer the look of fuller brows. In school I basically had no eyebrows, maybe the one hair all across lol! 

I've gotten out of that stage and I think fuller eyebrows flatter my face shape so much more.

REVIEW: Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

I got this foundation on special offer at ASDA for around £5-6 which is a bargain, because the RRP is usually sound £8-9. But that's still of reasonable price for a good quality foundation. Its a medium to full coverage foundation and I find it really build-able but it doesn't look cakey. They have quite a selection for shades, I'm really pale and of course I went with the palest colour and it matches my skin perfectly! I personally love this foundation! without going into the science of foundation, because that's just too above my head haha! but it adds a glow to your skin which I really like in a foundation, I'm not a person that goes for the matte look, I like my face to have that glow and natural sheen look, but still have enough coverage to cover my redness and blemishes. I love the packaging, very sleek if you ask me :) orange is one of my favourite colours! 

I 100% recommend this foundation.

Top 5: high-street/drug-store lipstick/lip-glosses

hello lovelies :) 

this is my first of many beauty blogs. ive decided to give it a go, because i love reading them, so why not? haha. i know the quality might be up to standard as some of the beauty bloggers. but i hope that you'll bare with me til i can get a better camera and get into the swing of layouts etc. so heres my top 5 lipstick/lipglosses..

i havent put them in any order, because i wouldnt say thats very fair on them :') 

Above is GOSH darling 134, velvet finish. im sorry i dont have a swatch for the above lipstick, but its a nude. a good dupe for MACs Myth lipstick (in my opinion) i love the formulation, its very moisturising. although, i wouldnt recommend this lipstick if you have chapped lips, because the lipstick can tend to sit in the cracks of your lips and it can make it look nasty!

this lipstick is usually around the £5 mark, so very reasonable for a lipstick.

 above is 'Cherry Red' Moisture shine from Natural Collection, a Boots only brand. I love natural collections range of make-up because its cheap and of good quality, the lipsticks are very pigmated and moisturising. i have quite a few lipsticks from their collection. more on the dressier side of a lipstick, and not many people have to confidence to pull off a red lipstick on a day to day basis, but i dont mind. if im feeling a little crazy and wild, ill rock it haha! 

this lipstick is £1.99 like every Natural Collection range. Alot of the time they have offers in Boots where its 3 products for £5 BARGAIN!

 Above is Revlons 004 Matte Pink About it lipstick. I purchased this lipstick from Xtras in Meadowhall for a couple of pounds, definetly wasnt over £5, which compared to buying it in boots or superdrug, ive saved a little bit of money, which in my books is always a good thing! I've had this lipstick in my collection for quite a while and for the past few months I've re-newed my love for it, as its coming into spring and summer, i think its a perfect go to lipstick to shove on with anything. because its a matte lipstick applying a thin layer can give it a natual finish to your lips. And for going out, you can always apply some lipgloss over top. bobs ya uncle :) i dont find this lipstick drying at all. i love it! 

 Above is 'Lotus' Sheer Natural from Natural Collection, Boots only range. As the laybel, its a sheer lipstick, but as you can see by the picture it still has good pigmentation. When i want a more natural look to my makeup, i love to just put this on and im good to go, i think the colour pay off would depend on the natural colour to your lips, but it adds a little sheen and glossy look to your lips without being too glossy. 

As all Natual Collection lipsticks this was £1.99

Above, is BarryM lipgloss ( The name of it has rubbed off :( weh, sorry!) Last but not least is my only lipgloss in this post, im not usually a lipgloss person, but i think this lipgloss is amazing, because theres not distinctive colour to it, you can put it over any other colour and it would still look amazing! theres different colour glitter colours in the lipgloss, but its not too in your face once applied. even wearing this on its own can add a lovely sheen to your lips. I got this lipgloss in my stocking for christmas so i dont know the price :/ im sorry! but i thin k all BarryM products are of reaonable price so i wouldnt think it was too much money.
